Aston Martin is celebrating 110 years of history, with the anniversary of the partnership started by founders Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. That partnership started a more than century-long pursuit of automotive design and performance, cutting-edge British innovation, and many years of racing success.
The company had humble beginnings in a small workshop in London, with its founders having a strong passion for racing. To mark this historic milestone, Aston Martin has brought together two iconic and innovative models from the brand’s 110-year history.
The first is one of the oldest surviving Aston Martin racing cars – the record-breaking 1923 Razor Blaze. It was one of the earliest vehicles to be specifically designed for aerodynamics, and uses an Aston Martin Grand Prix specification engine. It took numerous class records at Brooklands in 1923.

As Aston Martin heads into the future, 2023 will be a big year in the company’s history as it prepares to introduce the next generation of supercars for its loyal customers around the world. One thing hasn’t changed though, and that is Aston Martin’s focus on high performance and driving intensity.
